We just finished up a wedding at the New England Aquarium this past weekend – penguins and flowers, a most unusual combination, but such a fun venue!

Our fabulous bride also wanted us to donate the flowers to a charity following the event (she and most of her guests were coming from California so the arrangements weren’t going home with many guests). We donated everything to Rosie’s Place a wonderful woman’s shelter and crisis center. The staff were so happy to receive them, this is something we’re definitely going to do again!

The flower arrangements were all in a gold and red color scheme to go with the bride’s favorite color (red) and the gold highlighted on the groom’s full military uniform. We worked with orange and gold mokara and oncidium orchids along with ‘angel vine,’ red roses and dahlias.

We’ll post more pictures soon of the bouquet, which I if I say myself, was gorgeous!
