Blues and Purples – Summery Without Being “Girly”
This kind of color palatte is the way to go when a bride wants something summery and seasonal without all the hot pinks and bright colors for which seasonal summer flowers are known for.

For this wedding we did:

~ Dark purple and blue delphinium
~ Purple Clematis vine
~ White Spirea
~ White Peonies
~ Violet Scabiosa

This was that really hot weekend in June, well over 90 degrees and extremely humid, I think these flowers really added a cool touch to very warm day!

Apryl and I were also really happy to get a great photo of one of the handheld corsages. We love doing these for weddings, more modern than a pin-on or a wrist, and also lets the person holding it have control over when they want to wear it and when they don’t.

For this Mother of the Groom corsage we did a lovely white phalenopsis orchid, accompanied by clematis buds and a few leaves. I love how beautifully it is set off against the teal of the dress.
