I keep discovering a back log of lovely photos from this past season that we’ve never shared before! This wedding seemed especially perfect to share over this holiday weekend and post Valentine’s Day with a romantic picture of the bride and groom and lots of lovely passionate colors:

This wedding took place at The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square, a cool modern space that is very flexible with a variety of wedding styles. Our couple wanted a modern, colorful feel for their summer wedding incorporating elements of traditional Chinese weddings like the use of red. Red blended with magentas and greens for festive and contemporary color palette.

We rarely use carnations but do think they are fun choice for something modern and used a single variety. Above, we did deep red pomanders of carnations for the pew ends. We just loved how the worked with the space!

And lastly, a pretty shot of the bride and groom’s sweetheart table with smaller table arrangement of deep red peonies, Yves Piaget garden roses, green hydrangea, and loops of bear grass for green and modern touch. Each vase was also wrapped with green leaves for clean contemporary look. Rose petals and origami wishing cranes graced the table too.

Thanks as always to our lovely colleague, Connie Miller of Studio Atticus, for such great photos!
