Just a few photos from a late July wedding at the Marriot Long Wharf on Boston’s waterfront. Our lovely bride Sarah wanted a soft color palette of peaches, pinks, ivory and green for the bouquets. We used smaller-scale flowers here, and really loved how it all turned out:
We hand-wired lots and lots of ivory mini-cymbidium orchids which look so delicate and pretty nestled against the ruffled scented geranium foliage. A few tucks here and there of peach and ivory garden roses complemented the orchids well and kept the bouquet small but still luxurious.
The bridesmaid bouquets for this wedding had a bit more of the peach and pinks for a variation on the bride’s bouquet. I love how ‘nestled’ this bouquet feels with all these darling little rose buds!
The lighting was a little wacky (or maybe it was our fancy camera that I don’t completely understand how to use?) at the ballroom at the Marriott but I loved the pattern this akebia vine played on the linen. Dramatic and garden lush at the same time.
